ABOUT NOVELS BY WALT GREEN
Even before I worked for the Walt Disney Company, I knew that the process of drawing or painting, writing a screenplay or novel, or writing poetry, has the same goal: we want to tell our story. I’d like my website to speak to all the individuals, like myself, who are afflicted (or is it blessed?) with a creative mind that demands constant nurturing by its host. In my case, I've given the creative mind an adversary. I call my adversary, The Beast. I’ve written a book on the subject, now nearing completion. In, "How I killed The Beast," I explain how The Beast is anything and everything that keeps the creative mind from achieving its goals in life. When published, my book will be dedicated to the two groups of people who made it possible: All the ones who told me I could not do it, and the precious few who told me I could. When I was very young, The Beast too was young, and its name was No. No! You can't do that . . . No, you can't ride a bike... you are too small, you are too afraid.
The first book pictured below is available on-line at most e-book retailers. If you click on the picture it will take you directly to a retail site to purchase the book for mere pennies. Enjoy.
